Extra, good things to come.
Translation of the writing is (R-L)
“Happy to get good omen; four season peaceful good luck; extra money every year”
The pronunciation in Mandarin of fish is similar to that of the word 'extra' and since most people of China were traditionally poor extra always meant to be money.
Three fish individually were used to show symbolism for Lucky, Prosperity and Long Life. Together they add extra to these meanings.
